Google and the corporate wars of James Tracy

James Tracy is investing his last finances into perfecting and finishing his multitude of plasma-based inventions, continually not losing hope of being contacted by a serious partner or collaborator. Despite being nearly bankrupt, this tough-spirited scientist just doesn’t back down!

The world is full of bad people. Don’t worry; we’re not talking about bosses, mothers-in-law, teenage vandals or movie villains. This time, we’re addressing the rich and powerful people, whose unprofessionalism could be considered, at the very least – bad. Despite the extensive effort our editorial took in our last, exclusive article about James Tracy – a scientist involved in creating a noble ecology and energy based project – we seem to have encountered a completely different approach than motivating any individuals capable of helping.

Ignorance or theft – the tools of big corporations?

The information giant Google, has denied us any details on when their “Project 10 to the 100th” ends. Up to five voted winners (chosen by Google’s advisory board), who were eligible to win 10 million dollars of funding for the development of their projects, should have been announced by February 2009th! We couldn’t even google any info on the project’s continuation, which only adds a sense of irony towards the effectiveness of the world-famous search technology! Google obviously isn’t concerned with this situation, so we can only hope that the contestants won’t be left “hanging”. On the other hand, Vulcan – a corporation created in 1986. by Paul G. Allen; the co-founder of Microsoft – has let Tracy’s trust down for not offering him an NDA contract (Non-Disclosure Agreement) prior to their negotiations. The NDA is a legal contract which binds two parties to keep any confidential information, material or knowledge amongst themselves, restricting access to any third party. After Tracy’s request to sign such a contract with Vulcan, all communication with Vulcan’s Jim Boyden (the Director of Energy and Environment) permanently stopped. Vulcan’s lawyer office had also closed their door to any negotiations and we’ve unofficially found out that Jim Boyden had been “moved” to a lower position in Vulcan’s hierarchy. A project theft attempt or an innocent misunderstanding? We leave it for you to judge.

Media debacles and the success rate of spam

Amongst other “complaisant” associates on the list, you can find media giants like CNN, BBC, The Times, The Guardian and many more, whose cooperation is almost impossible to get. Perhaps it’s an understandable fact, if you’re a scientist – but even our editorial failed to contact the aforementioned media for collaboration. One asks themselves, is it really that hard to deny cooperation via an automated e-mail response? The big media, filled with all sorts of “important” showbiz and similar subjects, obviously considers it so. Monitor.hr has also contacted the White House, with great hopes of achieving “help for the little people” Obama has promised during his campaigns. After a few days, we’ve received an e-mail from David Axelrod (Senior Advisor to the President), pointing out the current medical reform issues via viral marketing! It seems the White House has only one advisor, who performs his job using glorified spam, whilst working on problems in a “one-by-one” approach, so any possible future changes in ecology or energy on their (already atrophic) economy – elude their interest!

(Un)profitable persistence?

At the same time, James Tracy is investing his last finances into perfecting and finishing his multitude of plasma-based inventions, continually not losing hope of being contacted by a serious partner or collaborator. Despite being nearly bankrupt, this tough-spirited scientist just doesn’t back down! A probable reason for that lies in the fact that this wasn’t his first “blow” from life. A long time ago, in 1988, after being honorably discharged from the Army as an infantryman, James traveled to the city of Berkeley, California; in hope of finding a partner to work with on his projects, or achieving a greater degree of education on the University of Berkeley. This turned out to be a bad decision, as Berkeley was hit by a massive earthquake in 1989, destroying all of Tracy’s inventions and leaving him homeless. Tossed out on the streets, James kept his faith and love towards science, pushing him forward until today! Although not really thrilled with the idea, he allowed us to point out his donations web page to our loyal readers, so that they could assist James with his research, or offer a possible collaboration on his projects, if willing.
